I want to donate the campaign limit of $2300 to Barack Obama’s campaign. I am a working artist, so I need to raise the funds. You can help, and you get something for it.
I will give all profits from sales of prints of my Obama portrait to his campaign. For every 9.5″x13″ signed and dated print of my Obama piece (below) that you buy, I will donate profit from that sale to his campaign. I will do this for every sale until I reach the campaign limit of $2300. Prints are $100, which is $80 plus $20 tax/shipping, so I promise $80 to Obama on each sale. You can buy more than one (they’re great gifts…). |
If you’re worried about the legal, here are the details:
- You are buying a print from me for $80 plus $20 for taxes and ground shipping.
- I am paying tax and this is income. I am not pooling donations.
- I plan on donating $80 of every $80 sale to Obama’s campaign up to the limit of $2300

I’ll keep updating this post with how many I’ve sold. If I sell more than $2300 in profit, I will offer those who bought after I reached my limit a chance to cancel their sale.
Where is your print?
I’m going to send these in batches. The first batch will go out on June 19th. The second will go out on July 19th. I hope to sell fast and not need a third!

You like the idea but you’re not an artist? I’ll give you my prints.
If you would like me to give you 30 of my prints so you can also make a profit, and then donate the same amount to Obama’s campaign, email me and I will send them to you. All I will ask is the cost of materials.
I like your idea, but don’t dig on political posters no matter how cool they are.. can I buy other art from you and still put it towards a donation?

Absolutely. If you’re interested in any piece you can email me, or just send $100 paypal to my sales@dangermarc.com with the url of the piece in the notes, and I’ll send it in the first shipment.
