I recently found a GREAT way to find figure drawing workshops: meetup.com. Check it out, you can search for the kinds of activities you want to do, like figure drawing, and someone is likely trying to organize it. You can organize anything you want, and open it up to the public. People sign up, and you can limit the number, or not. There’s tons going on there, and I’ve found it to be a great resource to meet other artists and get some life drawing done.

It was really nice to work with charcoal and paper again. I only brought a few pieces. I like to limit my tools in these workshops, it forces me to get creative, and not rely only on what I know.
