Opening

I saw an art show last night that inspired me to work more with layers in painter. Andrew Jones, a friend and bomb digital painter, had some work up and we talked about his technique. So I tried a few things, clearly breaking my teeth a little, but here’s what came out today.

Now, Illustration Friday is having a gallery show at Open Gallery in LA, and there’s a competition for spots. If I get in, it’s awesome exposure, and pretty good sales opportunities for prints. Plus it would give me a great reason to visit LA!

You can help me win by voting for my submission, and telling all your friends, etc.

  9. wow congrats! i cant remember seeing you on IF before and tsk i missed on lots of great works.. i like the morbidity of the atmosphere in this illo and it deserves to be hung at the walls of the open art show..
